Summer 2011 Beaches:

Beach Flags must be used for I/D

No lifeguards. Swim at your own risk.
Trash barrels are placed at convenient intervals. Please use them.
No alcoholic beverages.
10:00pm noise curfew. No overnight sleeping on the beaches. $50.00 fine.
No kites, fishing or ball playing on the beach until after 5:00pm.
No Catamaran storage on the beach.
Motor boats and water-skiers must operate a safe distance from bathing beaches. The law says 150 feet from the shore line. Motorboats cannot be launched from bathing beaches. All of these are police enforced laws.
No motor vehicles are allowed on beaches. Police enforced law.
Dogs are never allowed on the beach at any time, even with a leash. Report any violations to the Mashpee Animal Control Officer - 508-539-1442.
Bikes, etc. All riders should wear helmets when using bikes, rollerblades, etc. Bicycles ride single file with traffic, not against it. Walkers should face traffic. Remind children to stop at STOP signs and intersections.
